Message Harmonization
Guide
A collection of actions and benefits that people can take towards afopting
positive behaviors in basic education, and in health. The purpose of the
guide is to ensure that development projects in basic education, child
survival, HIV and AIDS and reproductive health promote the same priority
issues and do not overwhelm the public with too many messages that may
be confusing and contradictory.
Guidelines for Implementation of National Workplace Policy
on HIV/AIDS
This booklet provides a framework for protecting HIV infected and affected
workers in the workplace, prevent workers from getting infected and proactively
deal with the likely impact on the workplace. Issues of pre-employment
testing, prevention education, discrimination, confidentiality and care
and support are examined.

This two page brochure outlines the program objectives of the ENHANSE
project. It lists the project partners, and provides a summary of the
project mission, vision, target and focus areas.

Obasanjo endorses Peer Education Plus (PEP) model
Launching
the Peer Education Plus (PEP) Model, President Olusegun Obasanjo said: "I
have this joy and pleasure in launching this document and tools for Peer
Education Plus which will help our children and all the AIDS workers and
everybody to be able to perform their work effectively and more efficiently."

blazes another trail with 'LifeStyles' condom
Society for Family Health (SFH)launched LifeStyles condom brand
into the Nigerian reproductive health product market at Planet One Entertainment
in Maryland in an atmosphere of high razzmatazz and delectable class.
Field
training on reporting sexuality issues among discordant couples
The problem of discordant couples was the focus of the capacity building
workshop for radio journalist in February by ENHANSE Project to train
journalists to report issues of discordant couples for better awareness
and understanding. The workshop held at the premises of Internews Network
Abuja, February 6-9.
Civil
society groups learn to engage media
ENHANSE Project in the first quarter of the 2006-2007 project year organised
a media needs training workshop for some civil society organisations (CSOs)
communication officers to empower them in using the mass media to create
awareness on critical issues, promote their activities, change attitudes,
and secure or increase political support for their activities.
NGO
bloc holds capacity building workshop
The Association of OVC NGOs of Northern Nigeria (AONN) held a capacity
building workshop in Abuja, January 22-23, to create an avenue for members
to share information about activities, introduce members to the National
Plan of Action (NPA), and allow them articulate their roles in the NPA.
ENHANSE
trains journalists to focus on immunisation
ENHANSE Project in collaboration with the National Programme on Immunisation
recently organised a six-day workshop for print media health correspondents
to scale up print media coverage of immunisation activities, arouse public
consciousness on routine immunisation, and stimulate greater political
commitment to immunisation activities. It featured lectures on news writing,
civic journalism, interview techniques, feature writing, immunisation
and polio eradication in Nigeria, and photojournalism. Participants who
were drawn from New Nigeria, Leadership, The Punch, Nigeria Standard,
Nigeria Tribune, New Age, Thisday and Vanguard newspapers, were also engaged
in field trips and group work.
