Nigeria, USAID Launch New Partnership Project for Quality Health and Education Policies and Programs

A five-year bilateral program of the Nigerian government and USAID was recenlty launched at a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Abuja. The program to be implemented by USAID under the ENHANSE project, will facilitate an enabling policy and legislative environment for high quality, affordable health care and education services to all Nigerians.

ENHANSE will increase institutional and civil society capacities and provide technical assistance for the development and implementation of national policies, plans, legislations and guidelines that promote Reproductive Health, Child Survival, Basic Education and HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, care and support.
